"Instigator"

The first in our line of Yellowfin 24 bay boats the "Instigator" was at the 2007 Miami International Boat show. A brilliant Candy Apple Red color this boat does not go unnoticed. Power by Mercury Racing 300 XS Opti Max this boat is very fast and with the light weight of the Opti Max super shallow.

Versatility

Able to fish the flats as well as most any flats boat on every day she is a Bonefish, Permit and tarpon hunting machine. This past summer she was responsible for several people catching the ever elusive Key West Grand Slam and one grand slam for a fly fisherman. That's just flats fishing. We also have used her great range for our All In Wonder Fishing charters where we fish the flats in the morning then we are off to the reefs and wrecks during the day looking for and catching Dolphin, sailfish, Wahoo, Tuna, Permit, Goliath Groupers, Sharks and more. There is not a fishing arena here in Key West that was left out when this boat was designed.

Nicely Equipped

With navigation from the Furuno 7000 chart plotter to the brand new FCV 585 Color sonar, there is not a chance that a fish will get by us. This is truly a tarpon and bottom fish hunting machine. Along with that we also have a Sony 4 speaker stereo system complete with Sirius Satellite radio.
With a Bow mount MotorGuide Trolling motor to silently move in on the fish you have a definite advantage fishing on this boat with any one of our skilled professional Key West Fishing guides.
For a cooler we carry an Igloo 54 qt that is supplied everyday with Bottled drinking waters for you to enjoy with plenty of ice. There is a separate compartment for the fish that make it on the Filet and Release program. We are happy to clean a few fish for your for dinner later, not to mention recommend a great restaurant to have the cooked up.
Dry Storage is always a concern when being out on the water. The ladies need to keep their belongings somewhere and most everyone carries a cell phone and camera to take photos of the trophy. The Yellowfin 24 Bay boat has great cavernous storage areas that you can use to ensure the safety of your belongings. In the Console or up front, or even in the leaning post you will find a safe and secure spot for your stuff.

Comfort and Safety

It goes without saying that our boats are all equipped with Coast Guard Safety equipment such as flares, Fire Extinguishers and Life Jackets updated and inspected monthly. Each boat also has it's own fishing licenses and Insurance.
Seating in the 24 Yellowfin is great for all persons. The forward console seat is a great view with a secure feeling. Right next to the captain there is a spot on the leaning post that offers good conversation with a place for your coffee. When things get a bit sloppy and its time to run home at speed. the aft seating area is perfect. Hold on to the rail or lean back into the provided backrest and enjoy the trill.
The Ride is incredible, many of our clients have equated it to the boat floating across the waves. Most think the waves should have more effect on the boat than it does.
