Flats
boats come in all shapes and sizes. Ranging from 15 - 21
feet. The main thing about flats boats that most
purchasers look for are Shallow Draft, dry ride,
Pole-ability, and fish ability for two or more anglers.
When purchasing a
flats boat as a consumer you may have more technical
qualities in mind related to where you like to fish and
who you have fishing with you. These things may be quiet
poling, super light, super shallow. There are some flats
boats out there that offer all of these traits but
sacrifice many things along the way.
As a charter guide
on the flats of Key West I have found the perfect
balance of all things a flats boat can offer. A boat to
