Fly Fishing Charters We Offer

Fun Fly Fishing

It's not about what we catch its about catching. Join us for a fun time on the water as we explore with you to go and catch what is available and within your experience on fly. Any given day we can go out and show you lots of fish that will entertain the most seasoned salt water fly angler and make an easy catch for the beginner or learner. We custom tailor this trip to fit everyone. This trip is easily done as a go along with spin fishing as well.

Grand Slam Fly Fishing The Flats

This trip is not for beginners to saltwater fly fishing in Key West. When an angler tells us they want to go after the "Big Three" Tarpon, Permit, Bonefish, Redfish, or Snook on fly or the "Grand Slam" we as guides expect to see that the angler has skill sets to match the demand of this kind of fishing or the desire to learn.

A double Haul is going to be necessary to beat the wind. A Cast of 60+ feet will be required to be successful, That distance attainable in less than three false casts from fly in Hand. Patience and understanding with long periods of no casting are typically required for this kind of fly fishing experience.

Fly Fishing For Permit

The holy grail of fly fishing. This type of angling can and will tax your patience and skill to the maximum of your endurance. A skill set as a master fly caster is required here. Your guide will be a veteran permit fishing guide that will put you on the fish. all you have to do is accurately make the cast.

Capt. Steven Lamp has been taking anglers fly fishing for permit for over 12 years. He will fish you traditionally on a flats boat or the comfort of a bay boat. This is a demanding sport and requires the anglers utmost concentration and abilities.

Fly Fishing For Tarpon

The months of May and June offer a tremendous flow of migrating tarpon moving through the Key West Waters. Fish for them traditionally from a flats boat with one of our top flats fishing guides or take advantage of our bay boats for added maneuverability and increase your number of shots with the use of trolling motors. Your choice, either way we will show you the fish and give you the shots.

Fly Fishing Equipment

Our Gear

Our fly rod fishing equipment selection is extensive. Probably the largest selection of fly gear in Key West besides the fly shop themselves. With Names Like Orvis, T&T, Sage, G-Loomis, Redington, Old Florida, Vortex, Harris, Pfleuger, Sea Master, Fin Nor and Vann Stahl we cover all of it.  This is all provided to you free of charge when you fish with one of our guides.

Our Fly lines are all Orvis Wonder Line. We really love the stuff. We find that it works very well in all situations.

Our Flies come from all over. Tying flies is something we would love to have time to do, however we fish to much. Orvis patterns and local fly patterns are the ones we use the most and make them available to you at no charge.

As our client you need to tell us what you are accustomed to for a retrieve. What hand do you like to reel with?

Your Gear

If you are going to bring your own equipment, Great! We understand the desire to catch a fish on your own gear. Some of our anglers don't mind traveling with it. We can still supply leaders and flies for you.
